Super Junior

ELFs, we finally have a release date for Super Junior's 10th full-length album, 'The Renaissance!'

After continuously delaying their 10th studio album release date, Super Junior has finally confirmed when their much-awaited record is set to hit stores!

The legendary K-pop boy group will release the entire album, titled “The Renaissance” through various music sites on February 16 at exactly 5 p.m. Philippine Standard Time together with the title song and its music video on various video-sharing platforms, including SMTown's YouTube Channel, Naver TV Channel, and official SNS.

Following the announcement, their management company, Label SJ, said, “We initially aimed the album to be released this January, but we inevitably adjusted the comeback date to release a title song that is of quality.

“We continually thank fans for eagerly waiting for Super Junior's 10th album. The members and the staff have been putting all their efforts into preparing for the new album.

“Please show a lot of interest and look forward to it.”

Before the announcement, Super Junior has been heating up their forthcoming comeback by releasing various content -- either by group or as a sub-unit -- through teaser images as well as promotional videos for their album.

While the group did not announce any reason for the delay of their 10th album, the boy group shared in an interview for the variety show Weekly Idol that they had a hard time choosing the perfect title track to describe the forthcoming record.

Leeteuk told host Kwang-hee last December, “The production of the album will be delayed. We should've been here in 'Weekly Idol' last week, but our comeback is delayed to next year.”

Turning to the cameras, the Super Junior leader said, “Our title track keeps getting switched, but we will be back very soon with a good title track, so please anticipate it.”

On January 6, member Donghae teased that a title track has been chosen through a surprise Instagram Live.

He candidly said to fans in English, “Finally, we got [a] title song. So, we will meet soon. Keep [it a] secret because it's a spoiler. I am an [secret] agent of ELF.”

“The Renaissance” includes the remake version of their song “Raining Spell for Love,” the pre-release single “Burn The Floor,” and the single “Tell Me Baby.”

The album is said to have a total of 10 tracks of various genres, which will allow their loyal fans, called ELFs, to enjoy Super Junior's wide range of musical abilities.
